Now in its 23rd year, the Seven Devil’s Playwright’s Conference has developed and presented over 250 new American plays by emerging artists, local high school students, prize winning professionals and everything in between; and has offered free playwriting workshops led by some of the most exciting voices in the American theater including Elaine Romero, Samuel D. Hunter, Adam Rapp, Robert Schenkkan, Lee Blessing, Richard Dresser, Eugene Lee, Sherry Kramer, Jeni Mahoney, Caridad Svich, John Olive, Eric Coble and Kara Lee Corthron.  

With a longstanding partnership with McCall's Alpine Playhouse, all Conference events are free of charge including fully-staged readings, seated readings, workshops and even rehearsals.
